Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

Hi, it’s Paige, and I’m today’s skipper! Today was a great day. To start off the day, we got to sleep an extra 45 minutes til 7:45, which was much needed after the long night at the BBQ. We had oatmeal for breakfast and then got started moving back to Savannah Bay, where boat Olympics took place. We had a long 3-hour sail where I got to raise the main sail with Teddy, Aleda, and Bailey with the help of Max tailing, and got to pull up the anchor with Aaron, Max, and Bailey. Amelia and Emily got to steer at the helm. The whole boat was involved with helping with the sail today, which was really cool to see. The sail was very relaxing and rocked me to sleep at the very top with Amelia on the big cushioned pad. Once we got to Savannah Bay, we got ready for boat olympics by fueling up with deli sandwiches, putting on spirited war paint (colored zinc), and hydrating to thunder struck.

The actual boat Olympics took place on the beach and were super fun and competitive between the whole fleet. We weren’t too good at the various events, but we did win against Nacho Dingy, who are the Dive Masters and the oldest in the fleet, which made us all very hype up. After the boat Olympics, we returned to the boat where we started, moving back to where we were a few days ago on Virgin Gorda, where we will be staying for the next few days, and got started on showers. Showers were fun as always, and Bella nearly lost her razor and sunglasses because of the crazy winds. Eventually, it was time for dinner, which was chicken ceaser salads, Risotto, and corn made by Stella and Aaron. At dinner, Sasha tried her first crouton, which she enjoyed a lot. Right now, Grayson, Aleda, and Bailey are working on cleaning our dishes, and later we will have another Dive Chat, which hopefully won’t be too long… Tomorrow we have another rotation, and we get to dive again! Overall, today was great, filled with so many different fun and thrilling activities! Also, Margaret is so awesome and cool.
