First day leaving the dock!
Hello families! Today was our first day leaving the dock, and we did some important things. First of all, we ate breakfast, and it was cereal and fruit. Then we headed to the land so that we could hear a talk from Mike. After that, we did some sailing for an hour, and people took turns using the helm. Grayson, Emily, and Stella all killed it driving the boat. We also put up the sails for the first time and it was so cool!!! We then turned off the engines and were fully sailing for the first time. After we arrived at our destination, we had a swim test. It was 5 laps around the boat and then treading water for 10 minutes. Everyone passed with flying colors. Then, we went snorkeling in a cave. There were a lot of fish there. After that, we had dinner and squeezed in where we went around the table telling each other what kind of pets we had. Then we watched an educational video about diving.
