Location: moorings base

We had a late start today, and I am definitely not complaining. Those extra hours of sleep were heavenly. I slept in a cabin with Tomas. We had pancakes for breakfast, cooked to perfection (props to Hayes and Daisy). Sadly, we didn’t have much of an agenda today due to the storm. Tony asked Reed to make sure we did a deep clean of the entire boat while Tony and Margaret went to a staff meeting. After we cleaned, Milaku had us take our fifty-question sail test. This was no joke because if we failed, we would have to wait till next year to retake it. Lawson, Delphina, and Daisy were playing a game in the salon while Reed, Liam, and I were playing with cards. However, twenty minutes after we started, we were summoned to go upstairs. Here, Milaku announced trip-changing news- we were going to a villa because the storm was growing. After we had ramen for lunch, everybody started packing for our one-night stay. The house was a huge upgrade from the boat, with fully functional toilets, unlimited freshwater showers, three rooms, a breathtaking view, and an awesome pool. We had tortellini for dinner, and the skipper’s question was, “How do you feel about changing from the boat to the villa?” ——————
Im back writing this, approximately 2 hours later.
Update:
Our power went out—not only our power but also our water. This means no more lights, showers, or AC. It was perfect timing, too. Now we’re here.
