Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today started at 7 am, when we were woken up by Time of Our Lives, sung by Pitbull blasting at full volume from the speakers. It was a sudden wake-up call, but I was persistent nonetheless. To be quite frank, the day started much earlier, around 1 am for some. The rain arrived at 3 am, waking many and forcing those of us who slept in the power tower to relocate. An amazing breakfast cooked by Anton and Sophia of sugary cereal to ensure that we had enough nutrition for the day. Wishing that we had more time on the boat to look at our beautiful view, we went off to scuba dive at 8 am. After setting up our gear, Ali and I went off with Grace, where we finished our confined dives(off to the big infinite ocean next time). After putting our tanks away, we were whisked back to our beautiful home of Avizia, where we went zesting. As Liz and I took off into the wind, we quickly learned how superior of zesters we were, not capsizing once. After we spent too much time trying to dock, we eventually made it back to our home. We had a delicious lunch of chicken wraps. Personally, I didn’t have one, but from what I heard, they were delicious. My sandwich was delicious and a solid 10/10. After lunch, we headed over to Odyssey to do water sports. Margot, Liz, and I headed off with Will and three campers from Shammuari, who were all really talented knee boarders.
On the other hand, I couldn’t get up, but I could get up on my own. Margot and Liz, on the other hand, were too scared to try. As we came back to the boat, I could spot Kayla tanning on the boat’s bow. Mallory and I decided to join her, attempting to get some color before we left. We then picked up our anchor and sailed to Vixion Point, where we’re currently docked. On our ride over, Liz, Nora, Margot, Nate, Mallory, and I slept while Nat and Mike sailed. Once we arrived, we took an ocean shower after taking in our beautiful new surroundings. While our dinner was being prepared, we spent time on the bow talking about our newest prank for our councilors Grace, India, and Nat(but mostly India). As we finished our dinner of broccoli cheddar pasta, which was cooked a little too long, we prepared for a game of corral Jeopardy and laughs.
Overall a 9/10 day. What’s the job? Can’t wait for what tomorrow holds.
