Location: The Baths
The day started for me at the early time of 6 am in my hammock. As Mike started up the boat and headed us to our new destination, I headed back to bed in the cabins. We woke up to the beautiful view of our new destination, the baths (A beach full of rocks, cliffs, caves, etc.). After a nutritious breakfast consisting of Frosted Flakes and milk, we hitched a ride on a dingy to embark on our first adventure of the day. Once we arrived at our destination, we were instructed to fall back off the dinghy like we would on a dive. Once I fell back into the water, my head collided with my fellow shipmate Nora, to which I thought I had died. We were both completely fine!
Of course, I persevered like the warrior I am and continued on the journey. Once setting foot on the beach, we embarked on a trek through the rocky trails of the baths, a journey not intended for the weak. After five whole long minutes of travel, we reached the cliff we intended to jump off of. This was a very fun bonding experience for all boats since we were all there. Everyone had fun trying to impress each other with their various jumps, but I, of course, stole the show with my acrobatic expertise. After everyone finished jumping and swimming, we were picked up again by our dinghies. We had a bit of time to relax on the boat before setting the trail for our new expedition to a little town. By the time we reached the town, everyone was starving. We were ecstatic to have our first meal on land since boarding the boat, which led us to our first spot, a restaurant—nineteen dollars for a below-average burger.
Not much to say about that. I would rather move on to the next topic. We explored the town and got ice cream while conversing with the other ship groups. I then embarked on a journey to the supermarket and got lost from my group in the process. Using my heightened instincts and GPS-like tracking abilities, I was able to reunite with my group. We then all headed back to the boat, where we had our first lesson on sailing. Don’t ask me what happened, I can’t promise I didn’t take a Power Nap. We then had chili for dinner, 7/10. All of these events lead me here, writing my blog while gazing into the sunset with Fleetwood Mac playing in the background.
In conclusion: You only live once, take Action Quest trip.
