Today, everyone woke up to the sound of Mel blasting music, unlike yesterday, when we woke up at around 6:45. Breakfast (cereal) was prepared by our sous chef, Violet, and our chef, Delfina. After breakfast, we got ready to go skiing, wakeboarding, and kneeboarding. Graham, Liam, and I were passengers in my dinghy, and our counselor, Margaret, was the driver. All three of us decided to go kneeboarding over the other ones.
Compared to last time, it was more intense, and all 3 of us did better. The. At 9:40, we went to drop people off at their boats and went to Highlander, the dive boat. We prepared our kit for scuba diving and entered the water. My group was made up of Tyler, our instructor, Delfina, me, and Alex. We did drills such as helping someone without air, swimming without a mask, taking our BCD on and off, and taking our weights off and on. After we finished, we were officially certified as confined water. After we finished scuba diving, we ate lunch, which was chicken wraps. After that, we had to learn about the safety stuff, which included the location of the fire extinguisher, how to use flares, and where the stinky water was. My group was Devyn, Daisy, Alex, Lawson, Tomas, and I. The other ones were Graham, Liam, Delfina, Violet, Hayes, and Antonio. We all went over to Shamwari (stinky boat/seagull boat). After we finished learning how to use a flare, we set sail to where we are now, Vixen Point. After we anchored here, we had a “dance battle” with the boat next to us, Highlander (which we won). Our chefs cooked a great dinner, which was cheddar broccoli pasta with biscuits and salad. And just like every night, we did our squeeze and after-dinner activities: Calabria, an elimination dance game. Our top 5 (going from fifth to first place) were Liam, Lawson, Graham, Daisy, and I.
