Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
This morning, after a great night of rest with little to no rain, we woke up to some T-Swifty tunes. Everyone got ready, and we ate oatmeal and apples. The Divemasters, Scott, Alexis, Amelia, and Ty, all began working the rotations. Everyone else started the rotation with paddle boarding around the boat. Paddling to a rocky beach and realizing that the shore is covered in urchins is unpleasant lol. We did relay races using the boards, which was basically doing three flips underwater with two life vests, paddling around the boat, and switching off to the next person. Then we just chilled out and swam in the rain, which was very peaceful.
After that, we ate chicken salad and pasta for lunch. Then we headed off to another sailboat to wakeboard and kneeboard behind the dinghy. We split into two groups: Milo, Micah, Ruby, and Madeline. In the other group were Macy(me), August, Kiki, and Annika. Everyone had such a lit time. It was a really good time. We did “Zoomies” which was driving the dinghy super fast. After, we went straight to the dive boat to start setting up for our first dive. No one panicked, and everyone did amazing. We dumped our leftovers off the side of the boat after dinner, and while we were diving, we didnt see fish, but we saw pasta. When we were done, we came back to take some bougie showers in the ocean and ate. Din-Din was yummy chicken curry. We all had a talk about ripple effects, which means saying something nice to someone can make someone’s day. Now we are playing BS and spoons, but I can’t play because I’m currently writing this, so I’m going to end it now.
