Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today, the Good Times crew had an amazing day! Humphrey, Diego, and Pablo fell asleep on the top of the boat last night. The wind was so strong that it woke them up! After everyone had awoken, we had vanilla yogurt, buttered bagels, and cereal. The yogurt was really good, and peanut butter on the bagels. After breakfast, we cleaned up like usual and set sail to Peter Island, our first dive site. On our way, Mimi and Nina sat at the front of the boat to enjoy the view but got splashed with lots of salt water from the waves! It is famously named “Blue Chromis” due to the large amount of Blue Chromis fish that live in and around the reef. The Neptune and Dolphin groups met together with the others on the boat “Forever For Now,” and the two boats conducted the dive together. During the dive down into the reefs, Kyler, who was leading the Dolphin dive, spotted a huge nurse shark! It was about 4 feet long, a physical paragon for its species. Ruby and Henry were frightened beyond belief but kept their cool and completed their dive, a textbook definition of a “dynamic duo.” Ruby was distraught at the sight of the male-female ratio, a slight 7:1. Alexis and Emma were also excitedly paired as buddies, encountering both physical and mental obstacles during their journey, testing both their limits and slowly opening them up to a higher plane of existence. While submerged, they swam upon a wild, ferocious Caribbean Reef Lobster, another quintessence of its kind. This encounter between the primal superpowers of the land and an absolute monster of the depths resulted in a fierce clash of the centuries. Emma eventually overpowered the lobster, catching it with both hands in a chokehold grip, obtaining the victory (staff note: an over-exaggeration, of course). After the dives were completed and all 16 boats had anchored together in the legendary Savannah Bay, we spent the rest of the day basking in the enlightening BVI aura. After dinner, a forum was convened upon the bow of the ship, in which serious matters were discussed between the crew, led by Stormy, Antonio, and Ben. After the forum dissipated, we slumped, ready for a new adventure in the morning that awaited us!
