Hi girls! This morning started off strong with oatmeal (shoutout to Claire for boiling that water. She’s a soldierrrr) as fuel for our busy rotation day. We loaded up haulin (our dinghy) and zoomed to Meow or Never – a youngin boat. It’s so lit to mentor the wee ones, tbh. We did a skill circuit during the first rotation, and Kai and I fist-bumped each other after every skill to maintain a positive and supportive environment. I did not eat with my weight belt removed, but I got a five on the giant stride. In the second rotation, I observed the kids doing more of their confined water dive, and it was depressing to see my dive watch read 3 ft depth. A sting ray was harassing the kids, so I stepped in and protected them. Don’t worry. Before lunch we had to do a tank run – classic unpaid intern things (eye-roll emoji). Jk, it’s acc a vibe, and I LOVE TANK RUNS cuz I love lifting the heavy tanks yasss. Then we had grilled cheese for lunch. Shout out to our mate aYden for the grilled cheese. They were fyeee. I drove the dinghy back to the dive boat after lunch and I ATE DOWN I had the whole squad applauding.

I hoisted the devastatingly heavy tanks onto the boat and flexed on the little kids. Then, group 1 – Player Sedona, Jake, and I gossiped on the hard top hehe. Sedona and I were buddies for the “stress test” which was exchanging all of our gear underwater while sharing one regulator. Josh, Lizzie, Claire, and Anzie did the stress test first and took one for the team…. They slayed. Personally, Sedona and I found the test not stressful at ALL, and we slayed the boots house down Houston. I’m deceased. Sedona and I had a day of WINS for the girlies, earning 5s on our tired diver tow. In fact, I got the fastest time #1 winner, beating the runner-up by 26 seconds (I got 1 and 1/2 mins).

Player Jake, Sedona, and I practiced some rescue skills together to refresh our memory. Then we were lucky and clocked out early, getting back to our home boat at 4:45. Player and India started cooking dinner while Margaret, Jake, Josh, and David displayed extravagant amounts of athleticism and played a game of “catch.” Unfortunately, Margaret was forcefully shoved into the water by Jake – his punishment is TBD. We then had a delish dinner of Mexican, with a surprise guest, Mister Mike, stopping by to check on Kai, who unfortunately re-dislocated his shoulder. However, we appreciate the honor of hosting Mister Mike anytime. I finished the bracelet for Player, and it’s beautiful. I’m an artist, tbh. We (not me cuz I’m skipper) cleaned up dinner, and we did squeeze. I asked a very wholesome squeeze question that truly appreciated our staff for being so amazing. We had a wee dance party, discussed laundry logistics, and did a little bit of Emergency First Response training, which took a while but is very important!!!!! Our faithful mate Margaret made us brownies (dang the mates be cheffing tdy) but I am not allowed to get one till i finish this blog so sorry if the last bit has been a bit rushed (eye-roll emoji). Goodnight everyone I’m gonna try to sleep on the roof tonight pray for me, it’s been squall-ing recently.

I love u, Mommy and Daddy, and I miss u so much, my perfect puppy buddy.
