Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
What a dayyyyy! We woke up this morning to the soft sound of Taylor Swift. I went to do watersports with Jake, Josh, and Lizzie, and it was superrrr fun. Jake and I absolutely shredded on the knee board and even attempted a handstand; however, that didnt work, unfortunately. Josh killed it on the wakeboard and did a couple of 180’s, which was fireeeee. Lizzie came along for a fun joy ride. Then, we had breakfast of bagels and yogurt which was also fire. Then, we got our kits set up to go diving. We dove at a site called the”Krake,” which is a sick sunken shipwreck. Our duty for the dive was to take notes so then after we could create maps of it. Lizzie and I finished the dive early, so we took our extra bottom time to practice some divemaster skills, such as mask removal and 5-step ascent. We ate. Claire and Sally saw a bunch of spider crabs on the dive, which was cool. After we dove, we all chilled and did our maps. Kai absolutely ate up his map, and it was my favorite out of everyone’s because of how much detail he put into it. After we did our maps, we had lunch, which was PB&J, and pasta salad, which was delishhhhh. Then, we got the second opportunity to do water sports, which was awesome.
Sedona, Player, Claire, Anzie, Lizzie, Sally, and I all went, and everyone did so well. My duty was to take pictures of everyone shredding. When Sedona went on the kneeboard it was genuinely one of the funniest moments of my life because she kept on making these funny facial expressions and sounds. Player killed it on the wakeboard and did a lot of cool jumps and tricks. Anzie also ate on the wakeboard, and Lizzie and Claire shredded on the kneeboard. Then, we came back to the boat for a dive chat and were so happy to see that Kai, Josh, David, and Jake had whipped up some yummy caramel apple treat that was amazing. Kai is such a good chef, and that treat was what we all needed after such hard work all day. Then, the boys went to do more water sports, and the girls chilled back on the boat, showered, and played in the water. Then, we all got ready for dinner, which was risotto and Caesar salad that David and Sally cheffed up. It was so good. Now we are all doing cleanup and are going to have a dive chat later, and we’re all gonna hang out. So much fun today I can’t wait for tomorrow yayyyyyy
