Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Hi, I’m Jacob, and I’m the skipper for the day. We had a really late wake-up and started to cook breakfast at around 8:30 am. Cameron, Sienna, Caitlin, and especially Lily all helped cook pancakes. After Breakfast, Noah took the helm as we sailed to “Road-town”. We got our shoes and phones and spent money, and went onto shore. Caitlin, Lily, Sienna, and Jacob went to a restaurant called village cay for lunch. While everyone was ordering, Noah, Adnan, Arhan, and Giles came running back to the restaurant because they were caught in a squall, an intense rainstorm. The food was quite scrumptious. After eating, Jacob, Adnan, Noah, Giles, and Arhan went to a clothing store called Mr. Nice Guy to look around. Cameron and Conrad went to an ice cream shop and soon met up with the other kids who were at Mr. Nice Guy. Caitlin, Sienna, and Lily went to the supermarket and then the ice cream shop. Jasper and Alexa were both walking around and admiring the town. Soon after, it was time to leave, and everyone got back in a dinghy to go to the boat. We then sailed to “the bight” as one of the scuba diver instructors named Gene hitched a ride with us. Gene took the helm the whole way, and once we arrived, we quickly took showers because the staff had to go to a meeting for an hour. Cameron, Lily, and Sienna were left in charge as Caitlin, Lily, and Adnan cooked dinner, which was tomatoes, cucumbers, sliced hot dogs, and rice+beans. We then did dishie pit and deckie and followed up with squeeze. Finally, we wrote letters to everyone, including staff, AQ, and director Mike for memory.
