Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Most of us started the day off bright and early so we could start sailing. Clavin, Leah, Caroline, Isabel, Mora, Jace, Natalie, Robby, Teddy, Anton, Ryan, and Emma all woke up one by one (though Teddy had a bit of a difficult time). We sailed to Devil’s Bay and went to a beautiful part called The Baths, full of slippery rocks and beautiful scenery. We traveled to a cliff jumping rock, and all tried (and failed) to jump off at the same time. After a nice break at the beach, we got back on the boat to sail to our next location.
After jumping off a rock, we sailed to a marina called Spanish Town. We spent our time there shopping and basking in the AC. Towards the end, we went to an ice cream shop and all enjoyed ice cream and sherbets. After a few hours spent on land, we got back on the boat once more. While sailing to our stopping point, Jace, Natalie, and Ryan threw a dance party, and many of us tried making friendship bracelets (not entirely successful). We eventually moored the boat for the night, nearing the end of a wonderful day. We had beans and rice for dinner, and Ryan asked an amazing question to everyone after we finished eating. We then watched a beautiful sunset and ended the day. We’re about to start our dive chat and quizzes, and we’re all so excited to watch the amazing quality dive videos.
