Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
We started today with scuba diving at eight which lasted until ten. After learning loads of new exciting scuba skills, we went on a hike onshore near where we were anchored. The hike started off by walking on rocks. Then we began to walk at an incline for about 15 minutes. During the hike, we saw some beautiful views of the ocean. The hike ended with a stunning beach on which some participated in skipping rocks. Shortly after the hike, we had some delicious chicken wraps for lunch back on our boat. Our next activity was paddle boarding. We all jumped from board to board which caused many boards to flip. It was funny. Our last rotation of the day was water sports. We split up into three ski boats: one with Leah and Anton, the second with Isabel, Mora, Jace, and Robby, and the last with Ryan, Teddy, Emma, Natalie, Caroline, and Calvin. After the water sports, we moved the boat to a new anchorage about half an hour away. The view while motoring was lovely. Then it was finally dinner time. Jace and Calvin were the chefs of the day, and they cooked a delicious meal that we all enjoyed. The last thing we are doing today is a sail chat with the boat we are rafting with (where two boats are tied together). Just another awesome day in the BVI!
