Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
At the ungodly time of 5:30 am, we were awoken for another amazing day in the BVI. While Mia, Eleanor, Emilie, and Serenity continued to slumber, the rest of our boat, Good Times, embarked on our first sail of the day. Once we arrived at Great Harbor Peter, everyone was awake, and we had our deep dive lecture after filling out yet another PADI booklet. We dipped in the ocean, napped, read, and hung out. Jake then decided he was going to spontaneously change the plan. Throwing on our gear to some heavy beats, we went on our first deep dive. We saw the effects of pressure when cracking an egg underwater and how colors changed, specifically red. For lunch, we ate deli sandwiches. Then we spent the rest of the day sailing, resting, swimming, and for those who don’t burn, tanning. For dinner, we had Mexican night! It was delicious; thank you to our chefs off the day Seven and Emilie. In the late afternoon, we rafted up with the other boats on dive side and spent the rest of the evening hanging out, listening to reggae and Spanish music, and talking. Just like that, yet another amazing day has come to a close.
