Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

We started our day with a classic oatmeal breakfast with a side of fruit salad delightfully prepared by Elle and Emily. Following clean-up, we taxied to the Nomada/Avizia raft (a raft is two boats tied together). We were able to paddle board and zest from the raft while we waited to be taken snorkeling. Hayden and I had a classy duel of foam pool noodles, where we stood atop a paddle board and proceeded to whack each other until there was only one left standing. Lilli, Madison, and Elle went zesting, nearly flooding their zest due to the oncoming waves, but still managed to not capsize. Sophie and Chloe were resting on the roof after some paddle boarding. After we had our fun swimming, paddle boarding, and testing, we finally got to go snorkeling, which was a very requested activity among our boat for the past few days. During snorkeling, we started off with a quick skill test for our scuba certificates which we all passed. We later saw a stingray, juvenile barracuda, and multiple sea urchins, which Lily and Ben captured on their GoPros. Also, Ian was making bubble rings under the water, which I thought was really cool. After snorkeling, we headed back to Beso, and while we were showering and preparing for the barbecue, Hayden, Liam, and Ben all took turns looking for two spoons that were dropped during yesterday’s clean-up. After we were all ready, we headed over to anchor near the place we were going to have the barbecue. We had a little shopping trip where Will got a really cool bracelet. After which, we headed back to Beso and got our phones back for the first time since day one. After the phone time, we headed to the barbecue, where we had fun chatting with other boats and drinking Shirley Temples.
