Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
We started our day sailing from Anegada to Mountain Pointe. At Mountain Pointe, we ate some amazing banana bread made by Elle and Lilli. We then started rotations, with the first rotation being paddle boarding and zesting. Lilli and I went zesting which resulted in us capsizing about five times while everyone else slept and tanned. After Lilli’s and my zesting adventures, Ben, Joey, and Will went zesting. While we were on the paddle board and zesting boat, Elle and Sophie saw two baby dolphins swimming around. Ben and Joey, with some help from Emma, made some crispy grilled cheese. After our lovely grilled cheese, we went scuba diving earning the PADI confined water skills. While scuba diving, we saw the sting ray, which gave Liam a little bit of a fright. We went back to the boat after scuba diving for our third and final rotation, where Emma taught us how to read a chart and nautical navigation skills. Then we took our final dive exam, which we have yet to get the results. Before dinner, we had a dance party that other surrounding AQ boats joined. During the dance party, Hayden did the worm on the roof while Lilly and Emily showed off their dance moves. After this, Chloe spotted a reef shark swimming around, but no one else got a chance to see it. While some people were out dancing on the roof, Lilli, Sophie, Will, and Liam played multiple rounds of spoons. Then we enjoyed Mexican night with the director of AQ, Mike, and his wife, Jo.
