What’s up, homies, it’s your boy Benjamin, and I’m back again to write another blog today. Today was a big day, as we had a race vs. all the other boats on sail side and quest. Before all that, we had to get some energy, so we had oatmeal. I went over with all the other skippers for the day, along with our actual skippers, and we had a meeting about where we were going. We also had a staff member who came late in the session named Steph, aka the mountain, join us for the day and help us out. After that, the team met, and we made a plan and prepared to set sail. Everyone was helping out as we tried to beat the other boats in the high-stakes competition for bragging rights. Henry, Makena, and Evie raised the main sail, Ellie and Ella long-lined the dinghy, and then Owen was on the winch. It was a great time, and we ended up coming in fourth, beating out five other boats as we entered West End, which is where we started on the very first day. Miles, Jack, and Sophia helped lower the jib as we entered the channel, and Robert hooked us onto the mooring ball. We then entered West End and grabbed some food, and did some shopping. We were going to have another race, but everyone decided against it as it was very crowded today, and some boats came in late and got food later. After that, we headed towards Great Harbor Peter with the help of Sipora’s steering. We then prepared for dinner, which was Mexican night which was really good. During dinner, Owen came up with the idea of trying to catch a fish, and we started throwing food in the water to lure some in. We lured in some seagulls, though, and Owen jumped in multiple times, trying to catch some making us laugh. Today was an eventful day full of new experiences and memories made.
P.S – Love you, Mom, Dad, Mac, and Wells, and hope you’re all well and can’t wait to see you guys
