Today was a busy but very fun day. Most of us woke up before 7 am this morning since most of us got wet from the rain during the night. Once we got our day started, it was another mini-rotation day. This rotation day would only happen in the morning. We started off with zesting, water sports, and relaxing on our boat. Kaya, Katie, and I almost had a mostly successful zesting session. While some of us were zesting and relaxing on the boat, Bea was out on the wakeboard and caught air for the first time, and Dylan did 2 360 turns on the kneeboard. After our first rotation was over, we headed to our second and last rotation place for the day. We all participated in an obstacle course against another boat. Cahan and I were long-lining and short-lining the dinghy to set up the swimmers to pull themselves up into the dinghy and do a flip off of it. The swimmers who competed in this step of the obstacle course were Sophie, Maggie, Katie, Kaya, Charley, and Bea. Then Xander would compete in a bowline tying contest. The results of this one were controversial. Then Aiden would smash the paddle board contest and get all of us hyped up. Lastly, Erich would lead us to end the competition in a trivia contest about all things sailing, scuba, and boat life-related. After the contest, we headed back to our boat for lunch and started the recreational dive planner learning session with Izy. Today we also got our long-awaited fresh water showers and phone time! We all were super excited about both of these things. And also, as a surprise for all of us, Dylan made us all apple cobbler, which smelled sooo good while cooking. Tonight we had our first barbecue of the trip, which was super fun, and all of us had a great night. As we all head to bed after a very long but fun day, we are looking forward to what tomorrow brings.
