Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today started off by waking up at seven on beautiful Norman Island! For breakfast, Gabe and Quinn cooked some delicious eggs and Blueberry muffins. Later we set sail to Cooper Island. For the first part, Hunter, Zora, Tucker, Moseley, Scottie, Sovo, Ellie, Helen, and Megan lay on the bow net, soaking up the sun and enjoying the waves. We then got into some sail training led by Margaux. We all got on the Helm and learned about the parts of the boat, sail, and wind. Later when we arrived in Cooper Island, we had PPJ sandwiches and a pull-up contest. After lunch, we swam in the ocean, and Sovo, Zora, Megan, Hunter, and Moseley did backflips off the dinghy boat. Followed by setting sail to the Virgin Gorda island featuring Skyann helping with steering of the boat, then Amanda, Margaux, and Mac instructing us on how to tie some very important knots. When we anchored, we had more swimming time, along with taking our second ocean shower and a diving lesson instructed by Amanda and Mac on how to set up the gear. For dinner we ate pasta alfredo for dinner and then watched another diving video and quiz. We had so much fun today!
