Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
I woke up to the sounds of the engines running and waves crashing at 6:50 as we’re heading to the baths to do some awesome cliff jumping. Once we had gotten there, we started to shuttle people to the beach. Definitely, the earliest we have been in the water. We had to go through a tunnel of rocks and water up to our knees to finally get to the cliff jump, to the lead of Margaux, after going for about five times and nailing some awesome tricks with Hunter, Gabe, and Quin. After some flips and tricks, Helen, Ellie, Hunter, Gabe, and Quin started to head back to the beach with some people from another boat. The BOYS were starting to explore the island and discovering hidden beaches and dope rock faces. We got an awesome view of the island from atop the trail after heading back to the beach at 10:30 to shuttle to the boat. Zora, Sovo, Skyann, Hunter, and I were throwing rocks as far as we could. Then Megan and I were roasting in the sun. FINALLY, it was our turn to head back to the boat. We started to head over to the town to get lunch and snacks for the next few days. Quin and I got some groceries while waiting for our food to be ready. We all got on the boat and Headed to the cove where we would be sleeping. I was helping with the steering of the Boat with Amanda and Margaux. Once dinner was being made, Scottie and I were talking, trying to figure out if we knew any mutual friends since we actually lived in the same county. Dinner was super good from the wonderful cooked by Moseley and Ellie. Then we watched Surfs Up. That was another amazing day in the BVI’s. Also, the whole crew of MaryLee wants to say Happy Father’s Day to all our dads!
