Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today everyone woke up around 7:00 am to prepare for our six-hour sail. We sailed to Savannah Bay. Myles and Asa cooked breakfast before we left. There were eggs, muffins, and pineapple. Julian, Carlo, and Alta washed the dirty dishes from breakfast as the rest of us cleaned the salon and took dry clothes off the lifelines. After everything was put away, Davis showed us how to slip off the mooring ball, and Kackie showed Lilly and Zoe how to navigate the boat. We sailed for roughly 3 hours until we stopped for lunch. At that time, everyone visited the trampoline and took naps. For lunch, there were peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Shane and Riley asked if we could swim after lunch, so we did for about 30 minutes, where we watched Asa bellyflop and Maya and Zoe dived off the side. As we got ready to continue on our journey, we talked about the importance of hydration and laughed about our fun from the night before. In the next three hours, a lot happened. Kackie showed us how to raise the sails and set a navigation path. There was bonding time on the trampoline until Davis told us to move so we didn’t get hit in the head by the sail. We talked about our favorite fast-food places and what we do in our free time. When it was time to anchor, Davis showed all of the parts of the anchor and how they worked. Once everything was secured, we all went swimming.

Everyone jumped off the boat together, and Davis videoed (Instagram content). When we were almost ready to start dinner, we took showers and changed into dry clothes. Lilly, Davis, Myles, Asa, and Carlo talked about workouts and tried to do L-sits while Sophie, Ana, and Riley talked on the trampoline. While dinner was being prepared, Shane brought out the string for friendship bracelets, and everyone started to make them. We ate an exotic dinner of penne and hotdogs. When dinner was coming to an end, we discussed our favorite dive locations and pranks we could pull on other boats. It is currently 7:35, and when Lilly is finished writing the blog, we are going to have a dive chat. After the dive chat with Mackenzie, we will probably eat apples and peanut butter and play cards on the top of the boat. We are having a great time and cannot wait to continue with our adventures!
