Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
This morning was one of the most nerve wracking in days of the entire trip. We had to take our sailing practical, and that means demonstrate man overboard drills, tack, and we had to heave to, as well as know various knots. I think the whole crew did very well and all should be proud. The next thing we did was dive. Only the Barracudas dove and it was the best dive of my life. The Barracudas are working for their advanced diving. We saw four tarpon, and one of them was bigger than I was! We also saw a barracuda, a small moray eel, and a very large file fish. We dove at the Playgrounds and while swimming underneath some structure a gigantic black grouper swam straight at me. I can’t wait to see how many people passed the sailing practical, and if I passed the sailing practical.
