Hagan Time

Today, everyone woke up to Timmy(Tommy) preparing eggs. While Timmy was making the eggs and everyone started to wake up, we were motoring over to Mountain Point. Our day began with our gopher of the day (Gophskie- Lindsay) getting orders barked at her while everyone was just laughing and trolling her when she was doing her job. We then all got ready and went over to the boat, Why Knot, for turtle tag. We started by watching a 30-minute video about turtles. Alexa and Lindsay both fell asleep. Once the video was done, the boat, why not, was the first round of people who got to go look for turtles. During this, all the paddle boards were connected with ropes and put into a line. Ryann and Cole were challenged by Annika to run across all of them, and they did and failed.

Meanwhile, Alex, Jackson, and Delfina were on the bow of the boat and were making bracelets. Then everyone started to zest. Tommy and Marcos then decided to be nice and towed Ryann and Claire on the Zest from the paddleboard. At the same time, Cole and Leo were in the other Zest and tried pirating Tommy’s boat and failed. Once Why Knot got back, we switched with them and went snorkeling. The first ten minutes, we swam in circles and only saw fish. But then all of a sudden Ariel and Timmy found a turtle and everyone surrounded it, following it around for 20 minutes. We have never seen Annika so excited. Then Marcos came over and caught it. Once they caught it, the first thing they did was name it Todd after Todd Ertel. Once the turtle got back to the boat, we were able to take measurements, tag him, and give him the name of Todd. We took some photos and then let him go back into the ocean. After turtle tagging, we made our way back to the boat to make White Tuscan Bean Soup for lunch. Then, we all quickly reviewed for the sailing test before taking it. Luckily, everyone passed!!! Next, we took a quick boat ride over to the dive boat, Nacho Dinghy, and started to prepare for our 40-foot dive. Everyone was scared to dive because of equalizing, but everyone was able to!! Once the dive was over, we all made our way back to the boat, and the cooks prepared dinner, veggie tikki masala. Pretty good, and once we finished it. Ryann decided that the squeeze activity should be a food fight. We had a huge food fight, Cheerios, goldfish, granola, everywhere… It took deckies and an hour to clean up… That’s all for tonight, but we are planning on making brookies again, having a rave party… with Alex as the DJ, and to prank tonight!!!
