Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
We started the day by waking up kind of late, for me it was around 8:00. Others woke up from 8:30 to 9:00. We had scrambled eggs with bacon and cheese in them. We were still in the location we fell asleep in the night before so we had to motor over to a nearby private island. Once we anchored the rescue group got ready to go practice rescue procedures. After the other group had gone to find and capture turtles (turtle tagging) the rest of us took a dinghy ride to a nearby white sand beach. Once we arrived I realized there were coconuts in the trees. After a group of friends found one on the ground and a couple big rocks, we had fresh sweet coconut. We found about six more ripe ones which we also ate. When we got back we regrouped with everyone and played some music. Following a short break, all of the boats’ crew members met on the shore to have a beach BBQ and play the game of life. The hamburgers were awesome. It was a delicious and fun day.
