Today was the first rotation day for the ActionQuest armada. A rotation day is more or less a day reserved for various activities such as diving, wakeboarding, windsurfing, and hikes. The first item on our schedule was a confined dive with Jake, our dive instructor. After lunch our crew headed to the beach. There we learned that none of us are good at windsurfing. After being thoroughly humbled on the windsurfing boards, we sprawled out on the beach. Then JP, Josh, David, Caroline, Alexa and I went for a hike with some of the other boat’s crews. The first point of interest was a salt pond that has excellent mud fighting mud. Then we walked to the windward side of the island. The hike signified the end of the day and all crews eventually returned to their appropriate boats. The day was incredibly satisfying. We are all optimistically looking forward to tomorrow and the rest of the trip.
