Location: Great Harbor, Jost van Dyke

We started our day with some lovely EDM and sleepy vibes, after which we had a yummy cereal breakfast and started prepping for our boat race (using only the wind and sails). After lining up with the sail-side of ActionQuest, we all took off and began our voyage. Nacho dinghy jumped to the lead, reaching speeds of 9.8 knots, shooting through our competition with some epic Pirates of the Caribbean music. After a close call with Hope (another boat), debating starting the egg wars, we continued to stretch our lead with our vega girls, Alli, Lily, and Aggie manning the helm. After a somewhat close race, we grabbed first place and made our way back to the west end, where our journey started for a nice bit of island time and food. Once our bellies were filled with some yummy food and we were restocked on our items, we headed back to Nacho (our boat) for some victory power naps and a super choppy sail. Making our way to GHP, our divemasters prepped their scuba kits and hopped in a dinghy to start with an 800-meter snorkel test. Once we all got done with our test, we buddied up for a gear exchange practical exam, whilst our vega girls hung out with Ayden and got some reading in. Finishing up our practicals, we showered, and Avi and Lila got started on dinner. During our scrumptious chili n rice dinner we were informed that Vizar would be coming by to do a rescue scenario with our fleets rescue dive boat (Why Not) so we all jumped up to watch them come around (apparently their boats are really fast). After toiling around for far too long to see the boat go zoom, we were fairly underwhelmed and hopped to clean up so we could wrap up our night and prep for bedtime. Now I sit with the rest of the boat in the cabin, jamming to music and drinking grape fanta, have a good night y’all,

Also, P.S. Hayden still really misses you, Ava. Thank you for all the sweet notes.
