Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today we woke up on Cooper Island and sailed to Salt Island, where we found out about the history behind the Rhone Wreck. We then donned our SCUBA gear and set out on a mission to find the captain’s teaspoon while the Dolphin students went on their first underwater photography dive, getting some great photos of our dive buddies and some cowfish. The Neptunes (Connor, Holden, and Ben) went on their first wreck dive (and bragged later about seeing an octopus) while Aline had some quality nap time (she was ill). After our productive dive (we didn’t find the teaspoon), we sailed around the corner to go do a short hike on Salt Island and admired the view getting some photos. Then moved to our second dive spot and destination, going for a snorkel with the whole Soul Rebel gang. While brownies were being baked by the boys, the girls (Maya, Scarlett, Brooke, Charley, Emily, and I) had a lecture on the other boat. Adrenaline started to kick in with the hope that we could quad raft later, and Ben and Brooke cheffed up some risotto and Caesar salad. We got out kit ready for our second night dive, and we’re very excited to have some of the brownies and hopefully (fingers crossed) connecting all the dive side boats together for the night!!
