Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Hi parents! The final countdown has started, so we are all making the most of our last days here in the BVIs. Today we started off the day with a nice jib sail to Wreck Ally off of Cooper Island. Once we got there, we all practiced tying bowlines and wrapping a reel around sturdy points of the boat. Once we were all confident, we dove about 80ft deep and did the same thing underwater on a wreck called the Beata. Then we came back to the boat for some mac n cheese. Later, we dove back down to the Beata and went through inside the wreck. Today was our first time doing that. Then we motored back to GHP for the night. We are currently rafting with Event Horizon because we had so much fun rafting last night. Rafting is where we tie two or most boats together, so it makes a mega boat. Later tonight, we are taking our final exam. If we pass, we are officially certified advanced open water divers with specialties!!! Wish us luck!
