Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Hi parents, today is day 19, and the end is nearing closer. Today we were awakened by the sound of a distressed diver scenario from event horizon (which is the rescue program). We all thought it was great to see what we could possibly do in the future if we decide to further our certification to rescue. Soon after, we untied our raft and then motored to Road Town (the capital of the BVIs). After we ate on land and called home, we went for a quick sail to the caves. Snorkeling the caves was definitely a highlight of the day. We soon sailed 10 mins to a close by the bay, where we anchored and started to cook dinner. Soon after I finish writing this blog, we will all sit down and write our final goodbye cards to all of our shipmates and counselors before setting off to West End for a final goodbye barbecue tomorrow.
