Location: West End, Tortola

Today started like any other day, except for the fact that it was our last day. As everyone woke up with pure excitement, we quickly had a somber realization. We had our last real breakfast together, and then me and Matty P went to the skippers meeting together to prepare for the big race. We had a rager at the bow of the boat before the race to get psyched for our upcoming win. Then we lined up at the start and got ready. Our launch was beautiful, and it gained us an early lead that we were able to maintain for the duration of the race. As we crossed the finish line with an absolute and final victory, everyone lost it, and we celebrated all the way back to West End Soper’s Hole, where it all started. Then we started the long and tedious process of deep cleaning the boat. It took a while, but we knocked it out fast enough to have about three hours of free time on the shore. Then we got ready for the final BBQ. The food was astounding per usual, and seeing everyone one last time was incredible. But our party was just starting tonight. We went from boat to boat, and we jammed for a couple of hours. Finally, we had to come back to our boats to start settling down, but I’m sure that we will have a late night talking and getting ready to leave behind the new family that we developed on this remarkable trip.
