Location: Marina Cay

Good evening, family and friends. Today was another fantastic day on Second Wind. It began with our typical seven AM wake-up. Following that, our chefs prepared us the AQ version of a marvelous, gourmet breakfast, which consisted of various types of cereals! You know, Cheerios, Frosted Mini Wheats, and Frosted Flakes #fuelledforlife. After the protein-packed meal, we cleaned up and put our PFDs on for a quick sail to the Rhone Wreck‘s anchor. We dove to find it, but experienced a minor setback when the water was about as clear as an answer to a question on a chemistry test in Sophomore year(So not very).

To say the least, we got a little lost, but after a quick surface swi,m we all made it back on the boat safe and sound. We then were approaching 10 am (aka naptime) and set sail on a 2-hour expedition to Trellis Bay. It began with some reading by Daisy, Emily, and me, but was shortly compromised by a deep doze. It seemed to be a trend among the rest of the crew as well, because as we woke up two hours later, the boat was the most silent it had been in the 11 days we had been there. We all arose and got changed into our finest attire (T-shirts and shorts) for our shore lunch at Trellis, which was divine. It seemed like a commonly ordered food was a chicken sandwich with fries and in my case, a lemonade on the side. We all went to the market to buy some more snacks for the boat, and some of the guys brought some towels to have a freshwater shower in one of the bathrooms there. In retrospect, that probably would’ve been a smart idea, but I was too busy indulging in ice cream to find importance in hygiene :). Around 3 pm, we headed back to the boat for some intense card game fun! A while later, our culinary artists of the day began preparing dinner while the rest of us ocean showered!!! Dinner was some tortellini, garlic toast, salad, and (my personal favorite) Cliff Bars! #fireemoji. Once dinner was concluded, we began cleanup while our skipper, Nat, provided us with some festive tunes that I can’t wait to play for my family at home. Clown music! A short 30 minutes of that later, the cleaning was complete and everyone met upstairs for some beautiful dancing (to clown music, might I add), and now we are snacking and doing forum together. That entails Luke leading a serious intervention around the outdoor table where we discuss our feelings. I suggested holding hands in a circle and discussing our fondest memories with one another, but it was shockingly shut down:(. Now we are all chilling together and we can’t wait for another great day tomorrow!! Peace out.

PS, no photos today, camera was dead (sad emoji)
