Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

This morning, we sailed to West End for a brief shore time and water refill. Although a majority of the old shops were destroyed by hurricane Irma, Omar’s restaurant proved a popular brunch destination! After stocking up on snacks and peanut M&Ms, we set sail for Great Harbor Peter. The 2-hour sail was beautiful and filled with songs from the Shrek soundtrack. We moored at our next dive stop and prepped for a rescue scenario dive. However, while setting up our dive gear, our instructors acted as “panicked divers” on the surface as our rescue skills were tested before even entering the water! After calming the “panicked divers” down, we descended and practiced more rescue skills over a coral wall. Whether an out of air scenario or another panicked diver, we all successfully put our rescue skills to the test! We then debriefed, showered and cooked for Mexican Night! We are about to begin our “trivia night” in preparation for our certification tests tomorrow. Trivia night will consist of rescue, emergency first response, and Disney questions! May the best team win!
