Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

Starting dark and early, around three in the morning, we came close to being pranked. Evidently, I woke up to the dinghy pulling up and politely told them to “LEAVE OUR BOAT.” Waking up for the final time after a rain shower I slept through getting soaked, Eden and Dylan made pancakes and fruit while the staff met up for a meeting. I would have to rate the pancakes a ten out of ten covered in toppings like butter, syrup, peanut butter, and Ben’s personal Nutella. Cleaning up before the staff came back, we figured out how to play the radio. It features many tunes, including Christian faith songs and whatever we could connect to. Once our staff came back, we set sail for our ventures. A quick sail led to Trellis Bay; some souvenirs led to the long wait for matching shirts. Since a limited amount of people could be in the store, to kill time, we frolicked around, taking pictures and climbing trees. We encountered many chickens and super friendly cats, which one we named “Bottle-Cap”. Making it into the store, we all decided to buy the matching shirts that said “Diving The Reef” in different colors, of course.

Feeling a bit famished, we indulged in the Trellis Bay Market’s many foods with strawberry and Mango smoothies, each topped with a cherry. With little time left, we fooled around doing shenanigans. Once back to our boat-ly abode, we set sail to Muskmelon Bay, splitting up into two groups at the helm. Group one featured Eden, Dylan, Mirah, Zane, and I while group two featured Ava, Eddie, Lizzy, Oliver, and Millie. This day worked up a perfect appetite for the delicious beef stroganoff with the sides of garlic bread and salad. Mike and Jake, who brought hot sauce, joined us. I noted that Ava loved the hot sauce, which I agree was delectable. Dinner was followed by my squeeze question, “What’s your favorite word.” It brought up words like “pysgod wibbly-wobbly” from Jo, “Shenanigans” said by Mirah, “Onomonopia” spoken by Lizzy, and Zane’s German word for ambulance, “Krakenvagon”. Closing up for the night, we had sail talk, and now Jo is making banana bread.
