Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Yo! We woke up groggy today and had a nice, calm breakfast after a restful sleep under the stars at Mountain Point. We started our day with various water sports like waterskiing, knee-boarding, and wakeboarding. And we were actually on time today, so that’s new. I got some awesome pictures of the guys wakeboarding, knee-boarding and waterskiing, the water was so see through that when you were up you could see the ocean floor on your skis. While Juni was kneeboarding, we came across an enormous group of jellyfish, and we were scared that if he fell, he would get stung, but he didn’t, so it was fine. And Drake was doing some silly dances on his wakeboard and it was really funny.
Eli tried to do a 360 but failed, which was a little silly. And Charles got up on his skis, but he looked super silly. The guys said I was mogging him, but I don’t know what that means. Then we did scuba diving which was super fun. Carla and I felt really sick, though, so we struggled so hard. The water was really clear and pretty, and I saw this really cute little yellow and blue fish that was smaller than the tip of my pinky! Then we had some awesome grilled cheese that Mama Arden made so that was gas. Then we paddle boarded to a nearby beach and Landon got stranded from the paddle tow line and had to swim really really fast to catch us and he even hopped onto another catamaran to gain on us, we finally got him back and got to the beach together. Carla Amelia Christina and I had a hand-stand competition, but no one won cause we were all terrible. After that, we came back, and I had a 2-hour nap. Then we had an awesome Americanized version of Mexican food (props to Garrett for the food). Today was awesome day and I was really happy to spend it with the people on my boat, they made my experience all the better :).
