Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

To summarize, the day was rough. Good morning. I am the skipper of the day, Vanessa. Today started off very early, at 6 a.m., as our lovely staff and some early birds started our sail towards the baths. Laila, Gabby, Reid, Angie, Lorelai, and I took over the kitchen last night and spread our beds across the floor to avoid the early wake-up.

We arrived at the baths after a quick sail and swam onto the beach entrance, from there we began the hard, long climb towards the jumping cliff. We all were brave and jumped off the cliff, yet found ourselves struggling to get back out of the water. Laila, Gabby, and I swam around the corner and came out with a few scratches and a lot of laughs. We watched as the rest of our group continued to jump. It was crazy to see some of the tricks that other people were pulling as we were watching.

We hopped back onto the boat and sailed to Spanish Town where we docked for a couple of hours; we all grabbed some money and got to shopping. Sedora, Mar, Ella, and Krisi found a cute jewelry shop in town and bought matching bracelets. Evan, Reid, Gabby, Laila, Angie, Lorelai, and I all visited the Bath and Turtle restaurant for lunch and ended with some delicious ice cream before heading back onto the boat.

We began our final sail for the night and battled the harsh wind and wave conditions, but our strong skipper, Riley, helped us through. We finished with some delicious Beef Stroganoff made by our talented chefs, Laila and Sedora (with Reid’s supervision).
