Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
After those who had been sleeping outside awoke to a beautiful sunrise, we headed to our first anchor drop of the day. Waking up and seeing the larger-than-life rock formations was definitely the best way to start our journey. We all rushed into the dingy, and then after being instructed by Emma, we jumped off and all swam as fast as we could to shore. Reuniting with friends from other boats and meeting new ones really added to the beautiful scenery of the Baths. Climbing, jumping off rocks, and seeing new sea life was an experience I’ll never forget. After exploring and swimming back to the boat, we got ready to set sail for the next destination. Claire, Grace, and I all raised the jib sail, notably without using wench. #grlpwr. Quinnlan took control of steering us and did such an amazing job keeping us on course. We docked at Spanish Town and got to look around and get lunch. Anne-Faye said that her favorite part was getting to have some ice-cold water in the heat. After shopping, ice cream, and lunch, we all headed back and said our goodbyes to Spanish Town. We were then taught how to set up all the scuba diving gear by Mountain. Having dinner together every night is always full of laughs, but especially tonight. Recapping our days together and then finally feeding our extra toast to the hungry birds.
