We all woke up to laundry day, so everyone was getting their dirty clothes together and getting ready to go on our first open water dive. Today’s breakfast was breakfast burritos made by our chefs Jackson and Sadie, which were really good. After breakfast, a dinghy showed up to pick us up for our dive. While everyone got a ride to the boat Nomada Carabina, shipmates of Nomada Carabina stayed on our boat. We arrived at the boat at around eight and immediately got to setting up our scuba gear. Once we had our kits together, we all got into the water directly above a reef. Everyone discussed the skills they were going to learn with their instructors. I was in a group with Elsa, Sadie, and Emilia. Everyone dove down except for Campbell and Peter, who had almost finished their confined water dives. After a short dive, we got back on the boat and got ready for our next dive, which was like 5 minutes after we got out. The next dive was around an hour long. We learned some stuff and then swam around and saw a trumpet fish.
Once our dives were over, we had Tuscan soup for lunch and sat around for a while. Jackson, Roman, and Andrew all looked at a book with pictures of all the fish that live in coral reefs. Then everyone took naps while Campbell and Peter did their confined water divers. Then everyone made bracelets and stuff using Leonie’s string, and Zoe and Julia tried to make anklets. Then we got picked up and got a ride back to our boat while shipmates of Nomada Carabina left our boat. We were all starving, so we all took showers and started on dinner, which was Thanksgiving dinner. We all ate everything, and pretty much everyone got thirds. Everyone helped clean up and got ready for bed. Everyone was really tired, so we went to bed super early. The end
