Today we woke up at 7:30 to a very sunny morning!! We all chipped in to clean the deck in order to look extra nice for St. Barts. A bit of rain hit us towards the end, but Ana, Sophie, and Audrey persevered and finished the job nicely. By the time the rain was over, the deck looked spotless, and Wombat motored over to a dock closer to the town of St. Barts, where we spent our awesome free time exploring the beautiful town, trying new foods, and getting souvenirs. Free time went by quickly, but it was now the time everyone was waiting for!! Surfing!! We spent the next hour and a half attempting to stand up—Johnathan and Miranda were definitely the pros. After an awesome surf lesson, we hopped in a taxi for a fast ride back to the boats, where everyone took fresh water showers. I can admit we all felt like new people after our showers, but our day wasn’t over yet!! !e met up with Shape Up and headed to Cheeseburger in Paradise. Shockingly, not a ton of people actually got cheeseburgers. After dinner and squeeze, we were set free to go get dessert. Violet made sure to enjoy her special treat and told everyone about her favorite ice cream flavors. But then there was a huge boom—FIREWORKS!! As we sprinted to the boat to enjoy the Bastille Day show, Alex and Noah were running a little slow behind but made it just in time. Everyone loved it, especially the finale, which was insane. Missy had a great idea to head over to the Bastille Day Celebration dance floor and listen to some live music; about 20 minutes later, we all passed out from an exciting day.
