Location: St. Barts
Today was a very eventful day! We had finally arrived at “the motherland” (St. Bart’s). Once we arrived, we were immediately told we were going surfing! Walker, Tati, Ellery, ImIm, and Mia were in the first group of surfing, while I, Jackson, Juni, Evan, and Drake had a bit of shore time. During shore time, we got food at a nice restaurant called JoJo Burger. Luckily, Drake knew how to speak French, so we were able to communicate a lot better. After we ate, it was our time to surf, me and Juni already knew how to surf, so we when to an area with bigger waves, but the instructor kept on screaming at us to come closer, luckily for me and Juni our ears were filled with water and got to surf real waves. The waves were 1 foot tall, so it was really easy for the other people to learn. Once all of us were finished surfing, we had shore time for 2 hours and 30 minutes, so I, Juni, Jackson, and a kid from the other boat got baguettes and enjoyed eating them with olive oil back on the boat. After shore time, we had take-out pizza for dinner, and then got ice cream and crepes. After a quite eventful day, we unwound and got ready for bed.
