Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Hello, I am Jack K., and I am the skipper of the day. We woke up this morning early in the bay of an island called Leverick. We started this morning with Oatmeal. Then, we raised the anchor and sailed over to prickly pear island. There, we took a small dinghy ride to a vibrant and active mangrove. Thea had a close encounter with some fire coral while Evelyn witnessed a fish viciously ingesting one of its own kind. The crew rode back at about 9:10, where we began a dive chat in which we learned about RDP. Afterward, the crew prepared lunch which was comprised of Ham and Turkey sandwiches as well as the classic peanut butter and jelly. After our lunch, we cleaned up and then headed out on a dinghy to the beach, where we split up to do different activities while there. Oscar and Harrison decided to take the paddle boards out while Jack (myself), Forbes, Caroline, Lu, and Lyla chose to sail some of the Zests (sailing Dinghies). After Chase was rescued after being stranded with no paddle, we regrouped at the boat and once again picked up the anchor, and Jack Hoover sailed us back to Leverick. Underway, Oscar and Lulu prepared Mexican night, which consisted of tacos. After dinner, we circled up for a squeeze question. And then ended with a dive chat. Overall, it was a fun day.
