If it weren’t for the scuba tanks lining the deck and the divemaster books in the salon, a typical day on changes looks a lot like the scene of a high school musical rehearsal. The crew of Changes are able to strike a perfect balance between hard work and serious fun. As of today every divemaster has studied 274 pages, completed 9 knowledge reviews, passed 2 exams, and aced an Emergency First Responder course. While everyone has assisted and lead at least three training dives, it is safe to say that Sal is the most enthusiastic diver in the Caribbean. While everyone is working hard, we’re all playing even harder. Ethan has taught everyone The Charleston, Matt and Emelia introduced us to “the wobble”, Rachel impressed everyone with her smooth singing, and we’re convinced Ivan has worked as an Activities Director on a cruise ship in the past. On a related note the music video “Changes” is currently in production. Charter, currently sporting an enviable mustache, has been spearheading the efforts in the galley, doctoring up some delicious meals. Alex’s deadpan sense of humor is a great complement to Alora and Raul’s contagious laughs, together they are able to have the entire boat in stitches. Maggie’s radiating smile and David’s constantly happy attitude provide a constant morale boost. I cant believe we’re already 10 days into our program! Looking back the time has passed so quickly but at the same time it feels like we have known each other forever. With this boat 11 more days won’t be enough.
