Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
This morning the counselors had a staff meeting at 8 am, so the kids were left on the boat to make pancakes. Maddy and Caroline crushed the pancakes. After breakfast, we got nailed with an egg by Good Times(Another boat in the fleet). We drove to the water dock to replace the water that we finished overnight. After that, we went to Trellis Bay. We were dinghied to the shore. While walking on the beach, Ariana, Macie, Erica, and I found a trampoline on the beach. After multiple amazing tricks and flips, we went to a local art shop. There we bought matching pottery snails. They were named Rhonda(Macie’s), Betty(Ariana), Barbara(Caroline), and Sean(mine). While we were still on the island Maddy(the Driver), Caroline and Bridget(The Hiders), and Anya(The Supervisor, hid five different boat utensils. Before we left the island, Will, Niko, Alex, and Casey waited 2 hours for food at the Loose Mongoose. After that, we all got dinghied back to the boat, where we sailed to Musk Mellon. A ton of jellyfish was in the water during shower time. Hopefully, that will cause an increase in turtles during tomorrow’s dive. After dinner, people discovered their missing utensils and went onto the VHF, hoping to solve the mystery. Beso(Another boat in the fleet that we egged earlier in the day) came onto the VHF and told everyone that they thought it was us, which was basically a declaration of war between us and five other boats. Hopefully, we don’t wake up to a complete mess!
