Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
We started off the day nice and early with a 6 am motor sail to the Baths. We enjoyed oatmeal and melon for breakfast before heading to the Baths. At the Baths, everyone jumped off rocks which Caroline was especially good at. Jon climbed to the top of a huge rock that he claimed to be 100 feet tall (it was definitely not that big). Once we returned to the boat, we got to wash ourselves in the real showers (instead of the ocean as usual). After everyone was all clean, we boated to shore, where we purchased snacks and ate lunch at a restaurant. Erica, Macie, and Ariana somehow got free ice cream. After spending some time on shore we got on the boat again and boated to a beach where the water was a clear blue. At the beach, Will, Niko, and Alex snorkeled, and Maddy and Max climbed on the rocks. While at the beach, we saw sea urchins and little fish. When we returned to the boat, Jon raised the sail, and Casey sailed the boat. We sat at the front of the boat and brainstormed ways to prank the other boats. Stealing their silverware, drizzling ketchup all over, and filling the boats with sand were the top ideas. While waiting for dinner, Niko became very interested in bottle flipping which almost caused his bottle to fall into the water. We swam and jumped off the boat before getting ready for dinner. Dinner was chili and rice, thanks to Jon and Erica. We are now getting ready to watch more diving videos so that we are ready to continue practicing diving tomorrow.
