Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola

After a fun night of staying up and chatting, we woke up in the morning to see the beautiful Musk-Mellon Bay. Our chefs, Amy and Vaughn, made us a wonderful breakfast complete with eggs, fruit, and coffee cake. After cleaning up, we went off for our hiking adventure. It was very treacherous, but the times when we stopped and admired the view made it all worth it. Jada and I (Ellory) took so many photos of all these beautiful sights. The guys, Eli, Cameron, Finn, and Magnus, had a splendid time taking sticks and poking at the cacti. Breckyn and Emily caught a little feel for the wildlife, but all in all, they had a good time as well. After that, it was skiing, where Emily, Jada, Chase, and Amy decided to have a joy ride in the dinghies and zoomed around! Even Dave’s drone caught them zooming across the waters and yelling positive affirmations. The guys, on the other hand, knee-boarded and wakeboarded and loved how Annika whipped them around the waves. After we had an amazing White Tuscan Bean soup, we went off to dive. Jada, Sloane, and I opted out for a multitude of reasons, but everyone else caught up on their open water diving skills. Then Mike helped us prepare for our practical and written sailing exams by showing us how to tie knots and points of sail and practicing our oral questions. We sailed a brisk 20 minutes to Summer’s Beach for the night’s BBQ. We met up with our Beso friends and made new ones while we were eating burgers and hot dogs. Afterward, we took late-night showers and prepared for the days ahead. Signing out
