Location: Marina Cay
Today we woke up later than normal to bagpipes blaring very loud through the boat speakers. We decided not to dive today (something very rare) and instead had a day full of sailing. We had a cereal breakfast and then started a three-hour sail to Road Town. Lucas and I taught Andrew, Mireille, Rooks, and Alicia how to play Canasta (a card game), and the team of Lucas and Rooks got absolutely skunked by Alicia and Andrew. During our voyage, Scott took a massive nap right in the middle of the port side walkway. When we arrived at Road Town, we were told by Matt to stay within the base of the mooring. We all went to the grocery store and bought communal boat snacks because we had somehow run out only a week into the trip (probably because of Scott’s excessive snacking). Then Scott and I went to the coffee shop and got Chai Lattes.
We also found Shay already there, chowing down on a croissant. Then Alicia, Mireille, Rooks, Andrew, and Rhiannon got wraps and paninis, which they all claimed were amazing. Lucas, Simon, Ryan, Trey, and I went to get lunch, but Trey bailed out because it took them a half hour to get our order. We then continued sailing, and I played guitar while many people napped. Mireille took a nap on the hardtop, and Rhiannon steered the boat. When we arrived in the harbor, Andrew, Scott, Shay, and I worked out on the hardtop and got swol. I used my dive belt in my pushups as well as the incline of the hardtop to make them extra difficult. We then had a delicious dinner of Tortellini made by Lucas and Rooks, and while eating, I had a heated discussion with Scott trying to convince him that the second Top Gun is better than the first one. Tonight we will be doing lifeworks and listening to a deep emotional recording. That’s it for now!
