Location: The Bight, Norman Island

With the end of the trip approaching, we woke up with the rest of the fleet around us, finally feeling at home. Waking up was a little harder as it was earlier than usual for all of us. After waking up and eating breakfast, we went straight to Salt Island, with a shipwreck nearby. After getting there: Claire, Anda, Mary, Jada, and Ethan went on the dive to see a massive shipwreck. On the other hand: Carolina, Anno, Ale, and I went on a hike to the top of Salt Island. The views from up there were incredible, with giant cliffs leading right to the water. We stayed up there for a while, with everybody in awe at the views and Pink Lake!

The lake was so salty that it turned pink! Not to mention there was salt all along the sides of the lake. After that, we went back to the boat and waited for the Shipwreck explorers to come back. After everybody was back, we sailed down the Bight. While on the sail down there, Anda, Anno, Jada, Ale, Ethan, and I all sat on the trampoline singing Christmas music because today is Christmas in July! Then It started raining, and we still kept singing all the way through. Once at the Bight, we could not find a mooring ball, so we had to anchor at first. After all the staff went to Mike’s boat, we decided to shower. Then it started raining!!!! We had the best time blasting music and showering in the rain. After that, the staff came back, and we ate dinner and then squeezed. At the end of the night, we all spent a couple of hours writing cards as it was one of the last nights we are here.
– Unfortunately, Aidan’s phone got waterlogged from the rain, but we are trying hard to recover the rest of the photos from yesterday. Here are some from the hiking group!
