Location: Great Harbor, Jost van Dyke

Under the sea, the memo of today, and what we woke up to. After a long night, we got off today with a bang; the port side engine wouldn’t start. With breakfast getting turned out at a rather quicker pace, we got to start with oatmeal and cereal. A truly nice morning as everyone was still a little sleepy, so not much talking, and everyone was taking in where we are. The first errand of the day was to get fuel and top off our tanks as we began to set way for our dive of today: the planned shipwreck Willy T. With kitting up, we all were enthusiastically trying to be the first one to jump in. Lucy and Madison brought their GoPros to capture the entire dive, as we all wanted photos. The main reason for the photos was that it actually looked like a pirate ship, and the people who created it added fake skeletons. Humphrey, Mathew, and Evan flicked up with the skeletons as they were pretty cool, covered in coral. With our dive coming to an end, Scarlett and Dawson recreated some iconic pirate photos with the plank and the lookout post. With everyone getting back to the boat, our wonderful chefs, Redden and Declan, cooked up some heat with the mac and cheese, as this time it wasn’t mushy Gerber food. With Humphrey finally done with his rows, he pulled out the beads, and we all saw his perm was gone. A true sadness for him, with his hair transformation, he promised to buzz it. With our dive done, we did a little bit of paperwork for the end of our rescue course.

Everyone got to studying in their spare time and also got their tans becoming Brazilian baddies. Now sailing back to Great Harbor, Peter, we all studied and conversed for our future test tonight(wish us good luck). Back at where we began today we did our make up dives with Humphrey, Redden, Ruby, and I needing to complete Rescue 7, Rachel volunteered to help us with our gear. Meanwhile, Lucy, Dawson, Mathew, and Madison snorkeled over near the coast, seeing critters and cleaning up trash. During this time, Evan and Scarlett maintained their studies. When all was done, it was Mexican night to eat, but we were interrupted by a scenario. Mathew and Lucy did rescue 7 to save a staff, Redden and I skinned dove for panicked people on the surface. A truly unexpected scenario, but we managed in 20 minutes. After we ate dinner with our guest, Jake, an assistant director, we prepared for our exams. Wish us luck.
