Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Today we woke up in Muskmelon to Tik Tok by Kesha full volume and set up for a yummy cereal breakfast. After breakfast, we took the dinghy over to a boat raft, where we hung out with Friend Ship and Beso Del Viento for a couple of hours. We paddle-boarded, zested, and water skied. Avery, Hanna, Taylor, Belle, and Brie shredded the waves while they knee-boarded and skied. Taylor got up and out of the wake on one ski!!! Jack, Yony, and Dylan went testing, and because of their amazing sailing skills, they ended up very, very far away and had to be towed in. Amelia, Rangeley, and I hung out on the paddle boards and watched Tony attempt to do handstands which were very entertaining. It started pouring down, so we all headed inside, where Amelia, Hanna, Jack, Yony, Dylan, and I played cards with some other girls on Friend Ship. After the chaos, we headed over to Nomada, where we set up for our last dive before we were all certified!!!! On this last dive, we practiced CESA (controlled emergency swimming ascent), and then Amelia, Avery, and I did backflips with Beth on the sand highway, which was awesome. We swam around the area and got down to 50 feet!
There was a huge reef that had so many different types of fish and coral, which was so much fun to be that close to. We came up, and all became certified divers! We went back to Odyssey for a delicious Mac n cheese lunch that Tait whipped up. When Jack, Yony, and Dylan went zesting earlier, they made a secret pit stop at Odyssey, where they rudely put toothpaste in my Oreos, which was very confusing and disgusting during my post-lunch dessert. We had a fun sail to sandy spit Hanna, Belle, Rangeley, Taylor, Avery, Tait, Beth, Sylvia, and I hung out up top while Amelia, Brie, Jack, and Yony hung out in the galley. When we got to Sandy Spit, we got ready for the beach party. The party was at a pretty island/sand bar that had lots of washed-up rocks and coral. We got to hang out with the other boats for a while and enjoy the beautiful anchorage. We came back to Odyssey, where we had to take showers in the dark. Yony claims he saw a 6ft tarpan. Now we are all hanging out in the galley. See you in soon, Mom, Dad, and Lilla!!
