Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Hi everyone! It’s Adam. Today we had a very early start at 5:30 and made our way to land. We hiked up the spyglass trail. The trail started off easy but turned rocky and steep very quickly. The view from the top was incredible! We were a little late, but we watched what was left of the sunrise. At the top, Brennan, Mason, and I saw a gecko! Then we headed back down. On the way down, I almost fell three times!
Once back on the boat, we headed towards Road Town to stock up on supplies. While we were motoring, we ate an amazing breakfast consisting of eggs and muffins. After we were stocked up, we set sail for Savanna Bay. This was the first time we raised the sails. It was an amazing experience to finally set sail. Before we anchored, we practiced man-over-board drills. It was awesome to see everyone work together. After we anchored, Ainsley, Julia, Emilia, and I started dinner, and Gala, Rainey, and Ella jumped into the water to cool off after a Long day. Today was an amazing day filled with fun in the sun! I can’t wait for tomorrow!
