Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Hey, it’s Luke again! Today was a relaxing day. We woke up rafted with another ActionQuest boat named Odyssey. We took a morning swim and ate a cereal breakfast. After that, we had a cool sail to Salt Island, during which most of us took a long nap after we raised the main sail and jib. Before we made it to the island, Tait told us the story of the wreck of the Rhone, a ship that crashed into Salt Island in 1867. We then did a quick hike on the island and came back to sail over to Norman Island. Peyton helmed while the rest of us listened to music. On our way, we went into a squall (small storm) and hurried into the salon. Our counselors went to a meeting, so we spent some time playing cards and ended our day with a pasta dinner and cake cooked by Hayley, Peyton, and Oscar.
